I have done it by using the SQL Server-only instructions in the Admin Guide. Make sure you don't have any SQLite dll's in your bin directory (need to delete two) and use the SQL Server-only version of web.config.

I've got it set up via the instructions like Roger has stated. However, I cannot get the mail feature to work.
I am in the Site Settings - E-mail section and have the following settings:
Gallery Administrator:
Name: Gallery Server Pro Administrator
E-mail address: ***@gmail.com (my personal email)
Show eemails as coming from:
Name: UO Pikes Gallery
E-mail Address: ***@mysite.com (my admin email for my website, hosted with Godaddy)
SMTP server: smtpout.secureserver.net
SMTP server port: 465
Send e-mail using SSL encryption = Yes

I've saved the settings and when I try to send a test e-mail, I get this:
The following error occurred: System.Security.SecurityException: Request for the permission of type 'System.Net.Mail.SmtpPermission, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed.

I've verified the information with my settings for the SMTP information (SSL is required, it uses port 465, that's my correct SMTP server). I've tried leaving the port blank and unchecking the Use SSL. Both give me different errors in relation to not getting a response, which to me implies the port and SSL are correct.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
