I've had a couple inquiries/requests from users wanting to have more control over their personal albums.

For instance, a user would like to be able to share/collaborate/exchange images and information with selected colleagues (assuming those colleagues have an account on the gallery server) while excluding other colleagues from seeing the album/images/documents.

I believe the only option they have at this time is to make their personal album hidden from everyone or not.

You as an administrator can of course set up that level of detail, but the album owner cannot. So you are right - the only thing the user can do is set the privacy setting.

I will note this as a feature request.
