Roger,

I really appreciate you making your source code available. I thought I was the only one who developed in the Windows world and went out of my way to share my work and collaborate with peers!

Anyhow, I really like this ComponentArt menu web control but I'm curious about the license. This looks like a commercial product? If I borrowed some of this code would I be committing piracy?

I bought a license to the CA controls and have the right to distribute them in my applications such as GSP. However, unless *you* buy a license, you cannot use it in your own projects. You can of course include GSP in your own projects, but the license does not allow you to add new CA controls.

Understood. Thank you.

On a completely un-related note; are you aware of a way to test Globalization code in Visual Studio? I noticed that you placed all your strings into a resource file, presumably so the text throughout the application can be globalized to users native languages. I would like to do this with my OSS solutions as well but I'd like to test (at least Spanish and French) to see that it works.

Is there a way to do this without building out a copy of windows in a foreign language?

Yeah, easy... I open the options window in Firefox and temporarily switch my language to the one I am testing. It is on the Options tab. IE also lets you switch languages under Tools - Options, but I haven't used it much.

Wow that was simple. Thanks!
