Roger,
I love your product, and the fact its free. Thanks for your hard work. I wanted to know if there is any user tracking and/or user stats of whats being viewed. Specifically, I would like to know if you store the ip addresses and when people are logging in to view items. And then if there is a page to view those stats. Thanks again.

That functionality does not currently exist, but it is a frequent request. I hope to add it later this year depending on how it fits in with the priorities of the other features.

Hi, you can use google analytics to do this:

http://www.google.com/analytics/

I havent personally done this but have seen others do it with great success.

First of: I just started using your great program, and me and my sites visitors (friends) are loving the ease of installing & using it.

I realise this is an old thread im posting in but its the only post I found related to my question.

to my question: I already have an google analytics and I'd like to continu using it with Gallery Server Pro. Does someone know where & how to add the analytics code to GSP?

GSP is fully contained in a single web page - default.aspx in the root web directory. I think that is where you put the code.

Hopefully Google Analytics records the various query strings, since if all it records is the page you are going to see nothing except requests for default.aspx.

Thanks a lot! That worked great.

Google Analytics records the various query strings. I can see pageviews for every albums. landing, exit etc.

I'm very happy with GSP. Alltough I feel a little foolish for not finding your solution myself.
