Using the data for permalink you should be able to create an XML file for setting up RSS feed. Rather than e-mail people when new images are added as some have suggested how about RSS?

It could be for any image added. One XML file. Or go all out and add seperate feeds for each album (category).

Just a thought.

Hmm, that's a good idea. It would give me a chance to brush up on my RSS coding skills. No guarantees this will make it into the next version, but I'll add it to the list.

I'm using Gallery Server Pro version: v2.3.3750 and would like to use RSS Feed to notify the user about new uploaded photos. Is this somehow possible or still a future feature?

It is still on the to-do list. Not sure when it will make it in but it is behind some other, higher priority items such as tagging, user comments, and revamped upload function.

That said, if a developer wanted to tackle this and share the code, I will make an effort to include it in the next release.
