FFMPEG is more than a bit challenging to most folks and I really don't want to attempt to learn many of its parameters simply to convert video from one format to another using Gallery Server Pro. So with that said...

Is it possible to reset the Media Object / Video & Audio back to its original as-installed settings?

Would someone provide a parameter list for the layman that converts .MP4 to .M4V and .MTS to .M4V?

I'm not lazy but rather trying to build upon others' knowledge and to avoid some "skint knees".

Thanks.

If you want a reset button that remembers what the original factory settings are and reverts to them, that does not exist. However, you can manually update the settings back to the original values at any given time. To discover what the original values are, you have options:

* Look inside the .sdf database file in the download package. It's in the gs_GallerySetting table. Use a tool like the SQL Server Compact Toolbox to open the DB.
* Install a fresh copy of GSP and look at the settings.

I don't know what FFmpeg settings you would use for those conversions. You'll probably have better luck on a FFmpeg forum.

Hi Roger,

That's what I needed to know. I reset button would be nice but what you've told me will do just fine. Thank you.
