After upgrading the server from 2.3 to 2.6 all embedded PDFs no longer display in IE or FireFox but they will display in Google Chrome.

I have also tried importing new PDF files to the server and still same issue. However you can still download the files though and they are fine. Every once in a while a popup will appear stating "File is damaged and could not be repaired" but that error doesn't come up all the time.

Here is what it looks like in FireFox and IE.

I just did a quick test and the PDF in the demo site works in IE and Firefox - does it work for you?

If so, we need to find out what might be different, and the obvious things to look at are javascript errors (unlikely) or network issues. For both you can use the IE Developer Tools or Firefox. If you can share an URL I can take a look.

The demo site does NOT display the PDFs like they are supposed if I have another tab with our picture gallery trying to display one of our PDFs. If I close our Gallery Server website and just have your DEMO site open then it displays fine. This is on the same computer that took those screen shots. The version Adobe that is on the computer is Acrobat 9 Pro 9.4.6 on browser FireFox 7.0.1.

ALL three of the browsers are on the same machine.

In IE9 it won't show the pdf like above but if you click on "Enlarge PDF to fit browser windows" it doesn't show in the enlarged state but when you click the browsers back button then the PDF appears in the embedded window.

In Firefox the above doesn't work it just displays the blank window like in the screen shots.

It seems like once we get the error below (which takes about 5 min before it appears) and you click on the ok then the PDFs appear like it does in the Google Chrome browser (but not always).

I am wondering if it could be an Adobe version issue.

It seems like it is an Adobe Reader issue. Once we installed the latest Adobe Reader 10.1.1 then the PDFs started to display properly.

Here is another error that displays on another computer running Win XP Pro with IE and the same Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.
