Hi,
I am using the web installer, and it won't proceed past "Installing SQL Server System CLR Types (6 of 11)".

Does anyone know why?

I wish I could help you. I don't know why it wants to install those, since the WebPI version of GSP uses SQL CE and shouldn't even need them.

You could try searching the internet for others with a similar error message. Ultimately, this is an issue installing a SQL Server component and not directly related to GSP. One possibility is to look at the WAG forum.

If you still can't get it, try installing the stand-alone version, which some people find easier to use anyway.

Hi, My installation is now stuck in Canceling phase. Will it hurt to ctrl+alt+del out of it?

I don't really know, as I did not write that installer. But you may have no choice...

Thanks, I think I do have no choice. I'll get an install cleanup utility.
