Downloaded and installed product and we love it. Ran it locally and everything works like a dream. Upload it to the rackspace cloud and after some configuration, we got everything working OK with the exception of the next/previous buttons in the gallery. We upgraded to the latest version and all, but we are getting a 404 not found error on the Gallery.asmx/js reference, resulting in those buttons not working properly in them rackspace cloud. We submitted a ticket to rackspace and were basically told that the global change needed to remedy this in their apache proxy server would not occur due to security considerations and that we would need to figure out something else.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what we could do to get around this? Or, is there something I am perhaps missing? I'm open to a different perspective and any suggestions.

We love this product and have donated to it because it's awesome and works out of the box on the first try.

I'm not averse to re-coding the source, but in doing so would limit us in future revisions and we're not 100% enthused about that idea.

Many thanks in advance.

I don't know anything about your cloud provider, but it seems strange to offer partial ASP.NET support, but I'll trust they know what they are talking about.

I think the only way to avoid a reference to gallery.asmx/js is to recode the source to use jQuery to invoke the web service instead of MS Ajax. In fact, that is what I am doing for the 3.0 release, but that won't be ready until some time next year.

Many thanks for the quick reply.

After a long online chat with their IT support folks, the issue wound up being from the A record for the domain being pointed to their PHP cluster and then being proxied to the .net cluster. Once the A record was updated properly the site worked great!

Many thanks again.
