Not currently, but that is a frequent request and will definitely be in 3.0, due in 2012.

Would you have possibly already a line of code with which one could change the order?
True to the motto "Form follows Function" I could then change the order already now global ...

With the current implementation of GSP, that is not in their arsenal of available functions though you might want to consider writing your own script to make use of the exif values for each image and let it do the work.
What you could do is to write on the same script a function that would let you arrange them in any other way as you have stated.
FFF is really implemented on current ones but has not reached this shore yet.
