According to the Administrator's Guide, Rotate is the only function that alters the original picture ("Rotating is the only function in Gallery Server Pro that modifies the original image file"). Is there any way you could not do this? From a purist's point-of-view, it would be nice if nothing at all modified the original file. I was thinking maybe you could do something like you do with the Thumbnails or compressed images, i.e., add a suffix "(1)" or something to the original file name, once it was rotated. The only difference would be that you would never get rid of the original image, as synchronize seems to do with previous versions of the zThumb and zOpt files.
