Is there a way to extract a zip file once its bee uploaded.

i have uploaded a 3GB Zip via ftp and i dont want to do it again.

I feel your pain, but the sync process doesn't extract ZIP files (one could argue it should). I don't have a solution for you other than uploading the extracted contents. Sorry.

Just thought to mention that 'arvixe' hosting has a zip/unzip feature in their file manager, just tried it, uploaded, in this case, a small zip file, chose unzip then move to/pick destination folder. This is done without and ftp program. So I guess if you go to your 'gsp mediaobject' folder you could unzip then sync?

UPDATE...just tried this with some pics and documents and yes it works, so that's a thumbs up for 'arvixe'
