UPDATE: there is an error on my live GSP installation which is embarassing. obviously the 2.5 upgrade upgraded my db schema. The 'live' error is

Could not find stored procedure 'dbo.gs_SelectRootAlbum'.

I tried to update the site files from the binaries and now i get a Thread was being aborted error :-(



Hi,
Has anyone experienced this error trying to run 2.5?
Previously I had 2.48 running fine, and it still does.
Any help greatly appreciated

Did you post the entire error message? It looks like there might be a part missing (the key part). Do you see any further clues in the table gs_AppError?

If that is a dead end, can you restore back to 2.4.8 and try the upgrade again? If there are any errors during the process, copy them and include them here.

i didn't backup the db (i know i know) so cant downgrade the schema unoless there is a script or something?

Hi Roger,
Thnaks for your reply. I managed to get everything working this morning by deleting my entire installation (excluding db and pics) and then deploying the binaries from the download page. Still wont work through the code but at least the pics are working again. I'll update this post with the solution if I do get it running.
