If a developer wants to add some new features, and wants to build a custom 'install' package to share, he/she has to incorporate all of his/her custom scripts into one of the scripts you already supply with GSPS.

This is a simple request: Add a empty CustomScripts.SQL file under website\gs\pages\installer\sql that can be populated by the developer, and will run an apply any custom tables, tables updates, stored procs, etc, to support any features added to the solution by the developer, during the install.

Or better yet a custom scripts folder where developers can add a new file for each table/stored proc, etc), but that might be more work than just a simple custom stored procs file.

This would let developers add SQL changes along with their code changes without having to change your default SQL files.

Just an idea thought. Thanks for all the hard work!

That's not a bad idea, but I think most people would prefer I spend the time on the things outlined in the roadmap. Considering that this feature would affect very few users and that you can just paste your custom script to the end of the script file InstallGalleryServerProSql2005.sql, I don't expect this will be added in the near future.

But I am glad you mentioned it - I will keep it in mind and, who knows, I may be able to sneak it in someday while I am working on that section of code.
