Security at Object Level?

How difficult would it be to push security down one more level to the object level? Typically I have albums that contain mixed content. For example I may have travel photos which may be 80% public but have family members in some. Or photos from activities for which I may not have releases for all present.

Its easier to manage as a single album and the slide shows make more sense when everything is in a single album.

That would be a pretty big change and one I am not likely to implement any time soon.

Having said that, there is a hidden feature that *might* help you. The UI allows you to mark an album as private, but not a media object. However, the media object table in the database *does* have a column named IsPrivate. If you were to manually set this to true for a media object, that item would be hidden from anonymous users.
