Is it possible to change the font color in the summary box ?
for example; when users log on I would like to display / highlight a line that indicates that new images have been added to a specific album

If you enable HTML on the User Settings page in the Site admin area, then you can enter HTML in titles, captions, and summary text. For example:

<p>This is some <span style="color:green;">green</span>text.</p>
