I would like newly uploaded items to be inserted in front of existing items inside an album.

Is this possible ?

Having to rearrange objects each time gets cumbersome.

Thanks,
Johnny

Objects are always added at the end of an album. Improving the sorting options is a top feature request that I expect to get to in one of the next releases. Until then, the only workarounds are to manually resort them or use SQL to update the Seq column in the gs_Album and gs_MediaObject tables.

Roger,

I think that about sorting there are more options that SHOULD be available in GSP depending on EXIF/IPTC data.

I guess that sorting on the following data should be available:
- camera date/time
- file date/time
- file changed date/time
All these options should have the option to be sorted in two ways: oldest first or newest first

Hope this also is implemented in the first new release available :-)
