I recently moved my pictures to a LaCie d2 Network drive.

I have a folder called Photos (\\cellar\Photos) that I'm using for all of the pics I want avaialble via my PS3 and other UPnP clients.

The Photos folder has several subfolders. On some of the subfolders there is no read permissions. This cannot be modified.

When I point GSP to the \\cellar\Photos as the source and mark them as Read only images, the sync process fails because it cannot read a subfolder (.lacie)

Is there anyway around this error without having to create copies of the pictures??

I can't think of a workaround at the moment, but I will investigate modifying the code to silently ignore any folders it can't read. It might actually be a useful way to get GSP to ignore folders that is easy to implement.

Will this be in the new release of the standalone version ?
I'm hoping so and looking forward to the newest release

I was planning to delay this until after the 2.4 release, but I will try to see if I can sneak this in. You can increase the odds if you support GSP with a donation. (And if you already donated, let me know.)
