Hello,

I have a windows 2008 r2 64 bits installed with iis 7.5 enabled (ASP 3.5). I installed gallery server pro via the web installer, no problems there. When i browse the gallery web server the side pannel (synchronize button and the admin functions) do not appear, i get in the lower left corner of the browser an error message saying:

Message: 'Menu1' is not defined
Line: 377
Caract: 3
Code: 0
URL: http://w2k8/gallery/default.aspx?aid=1

I can still acess the admin functions via url like: http://**********/gallery/default.aspx?g=admin_general, but the left admin menu is empty...

The default application pool managed pipeline mode is configured has "Classic", if i change it to "Integrated Mode", after login i get an error page:
Server Error in '/gallery' Application
The resource cannot be found.
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.
Requested URL: /gallery/login.aspx

Can anyone give me a hand here?

Thanks

You want Integrated Mode, so that was good to change it. It is puzzling that you would get an error about a missing login.aspx. That page should not be specified anywhere in GSP. Is it possible that GSP is inheriting some web.config values from another application higher in the hierarchy? Also, check the web.config file to make sure login.aspx doesn't appear.

Yep Roger, you were right, there was another web.config file in the root of IIS (one level above the gallery server pro folder), i deleted it, and all of a sudden everything is working normally. I was banging my head the last 2 days because of this, damn IIS 7.5!

Thanks
