Hi Roger,
I recently downloaded and installed GSP Version 2.3.315 onto my GoDaddy hosted web server. This server uses IIS 7.0, SQL 2005, and .Net 3.5.

I had a few hiccups but with the help of this forum, things are going well...mostly.

The main issue that I am having is that after synchronizing, some of the images are missing some of the meta-data such as the description or copyright. I used MS Expression Media 2.0 to add this meta-data to the images before I uploaded them to the web server and it shows up in Expression. It also shows up in ThumbsPlus 8.0 and ACDSee Pro 2.5 so the meta-data seems to be in the image. Any ideas why some of the images would appear to be missing this data and some do not?
I apologize if this has already been addressed and I missed it.

Thanks for your help.

Marty B

I need more detail. In particular, what is the pattern for whether the metadata will be imported? Is there a particular item (e.g. Subject, Date taken, etc.) that is *never* imported? Is it only when you add it using a particular program? Does GSP recognize any of your Expression-supplied items?

If you can provide a sample or two that describes the behavior, I will look into it. roger*at*techinfosystems*dot*com
